Demo Version - Written on my trusty Ukulele when Kelly and I were in Hawaii and completed in the weeks that followed.
We were watching the news as Hurricane Sandy was bearing down on the Jersey Shore. The immensity of the storm and the track it was taking was truly a scary sight and one we knew was going to have a devastating effect on our friends and families on the Jersey shore.
The song was brought back to the band and quickly recorded in our rehearsal studio.
Since the Killingilligan fundraiser for Sea Bright, NJ raised over $2k for the Sea Bright Fire Department we felt like we were helping in some small way...but there is still so much work to be done to restore the shore.
We want to offer this demo version of Weather Any Storm for $0.99 - with 100% of our proceeds going directly to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. More info coming.
